A whirlwind holiday!

I have not blogged in oh so long! It really wasn't intentional, but as you will be able to see over the next few posts, the holiday season and new year was quite crazy for our party of six!  Crazy good! I hope to spend the next few weeks catching up, as we've had lots of new and exciting things to happen in our lives!
We don't usually travel quite this much during Christmas, but this year was different.  A church in Arkansas had been interviewing our family during the fall, so we had our final interview the weekend after Christmas.  We almost always stop at the Arkansas sign to take our picture.  It's so much fun to see how much the children have grown over the years.
This picture was taken inside our new church on the Sunday they called our family to serve!  After the vote, our family hit the road to Atlanta.
We had to ride the Pink Pig, one of our most favorite Atlanta traditions.
Love these four little people so big!
We also met Mr.Frank and Mrs. Shirley for lunch.  This couple is so very precious to our family, and we almost always try to see them when passing through town.  After leaving Atlanta and the Gores, we headed south to Mama's house for Christmas!
It was Tilly's turn this year to get her ears pierced! I love that Mama got to go with us.  She took me to get my ears pierced many, many years ago in Augusta, Georgia.  So special!
Tilly was a rock star and never cried.  Sweet Summer held her hand the whole time.
The boys spent a lot of time chasing deer, and I took the girls to see the new Annie movie.  We loved it!  In fact, as we were leaving the theater, we downloaded the soundtrack, and we still listen to it all the time.
Our last night in Georgia, we took Mama out to supper at one of her favorite places.  The next morning, we headed back to Hattiesburg.
Thanks to our sweet neighbors across the street, David and I got to have a quick date on our 13th wedding anniversary! We would spend the next few weeks packing up our entire house in preparation for our move to Arkansas and our car for the most fabulous trip to Disney!
