NWA

When David and I moved from Arkansas to New Orleans from seminary, we missed out on helping our Arkansas family celebrate birthdays.  In fact, we had never been to NWA to see where the Calhouns live until after we moved back.  The weekend of Valentine's Day, we traveled to Northwest Arkansas to help our nephew celebrate his birthday.
Carter and Story spent the night at the Calhoun's house, so we had these two pretties all to ourselves.  We took them to a famous ice cream place in NWA, Brahms, and it was so so good! They couldn't believe we were getting ice cream so late at night, ha!
Saturday morning we headed to the jump place to help Lincoln celebrate his 5th birthday!
The hurricane simulator was a crowd favorite!
The birthday crew! After the party, we went back to help Lincoln open his presents before hitting the road back to central Arkansas, where we live.
On our way out of town, we stopped by Razorback stadium to see where the hogs play.  One thing we love to do on our travels is to visit different ball parks along the way, whether it's baseball or football, college or professional, we love it all!
Me with my little loves in our Valentine pink and red.
These are my very favorite people in all the world! There's no one I would rather travel the world with than them!
