Arkansas Baptist Awards Day!

Beginning in the first grade, Arkansas Baptist has an awards day to honor the children who have academic and character achievements for the school year.
Because our family came late in the year, Carter and Summer's grades were only computed for the spring semester.  In addition to Carter receiving All A's for the spring semester, he also received the Perseverance award from his teacher, Mrs. Parker.
As thankful as we are for all the A's, we are especially thankful for this character award and are so touched by the kind words his teacher had to say.
Summer also received all A's for the spring semester, and we couldn't be more proud of her! Carter and Summer are on their third different phonics curriculum since beginning PCS in kindergarten, and we are so proud of the many ways they have worked hard to keep up and maintain good grades!
Carter's class took a group shot at the end of the ceremony.  He has made the sweetest friendships already after only being at Arkansas Baptist a few months.  The girls have, too.  We couldn't be more proud of our four nor could we be more thankful for the many prayers lifted on their behalf!
