End of second grade!

The last week of school was so full of so much fun and so many good memories!
In Carter's class, they celebrated summertime birthdays all on the same day, and I was able to make a treat to bring in for the class.  Mrs. Parker, his teacher, had him read a questionnaire for the class sharing all of his favorite things, and then she had each classmate share something that they love about Carter.  This was the sweetest thing!
He was most excited about this gigantic balloon! Carter has LOVED balloons ever since he was a little guy, and that love has only grown over the years!
Carter's class had an end of the year party to celebrate the end of second grade.  They enjoyed root beer floats and watermelon, such a treat!
So long, second grade! Watch out, third grade!
Mrs. Parker, she needs an entire blog post to herself.  She has been the biggest gift to our family this year, and we are so thankful that Carter had her for a teacher.  We are so sad that this is her last year at Arkansas Baptist, as the Lord has called her to a new school in the fall.  We wish her all the very best!
And this is one of Carter's favorite friends, and we are so thankful for him! So long, second grade! You've been so good to us!
